I've often wondered what makes videos or ideas go viral online. Some things seem so mundane, or just downright silly. Others are entertaining, but do millions of people really think so?

I love crowd-funding. What a grand idea. Put your innovation, practical solution, pie-in-the-sky idea 'out there' for the world to judge and... see whether enough regular people will give you (yes, GIVE YOU), their hard-earned cash in support of your idea. Awesome. Of course, they do get something in return. Still. Awesome.
