2011 Jasper National Park & Willmore Wilderness Solo Pack Trip

This was a 13 day solo loop ride from Rock Lake, AB through Willmore Wilderness, over Hardscrabble Pass, down Blue Creek valley, through Little Heaven and over Glacier Pass, down to Brewster's Wall and back to Rock Lake.
It was just me, 2 horses, and Jimmy dog... and as it was my first long solo trip, it took me about 11 days to feel comfortable out there ;) This trip was published in Canadian Horse Journal April 2012 as Going Beyond. If you want to do this trip, buy Pack'em Up, Ride'em Out |
